Overview
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Selling General Manager to lead our clients regional electronic security business unit. This role combines high impact sales leadership with hands on business development, overseeing the P&L while actively expanding market share across integrated security solutions.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in electronic security systems, a proven track record of sales performance, and the leadership acumen to build, mentor, and scale a high performing team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Directly manage a personal sales pipeline, driving new business across access control, CCTV/Video, intrusion detection, analytics, and integrated security platforms.
Develop and execute market expansion strategies to achieve aggressive revenue and margin targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, GC/EC partners, consultants, and technology vendors.
Lead major account pursuits, proposals, client presentations, and contract negotiations.
Identify emerging opportunities in verticals such as commercial, industrial, healthcare, government, and critical infrastructure.
Leadership & Operations Management
Provide strategic oversight for the region, including P&L management, financial forecasting, and budgeting.
Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team including sales, project management, installation, and service.
Drive operational excellence and ensure delivery quality across design, installation, commissioning, and service operations.
Maintain compliance with industry standards, manufacturer certifications, and safety protocols.
Oversee resource allocation, workflow planning, and project profitability.
Strategic Growth
Define and execute annual business plans aligned with company objectives.
Build partnerships with key OEMs (e.g., LenelS2, Genetec, Avigilon, HID, Software House) to strengthen go-to-market capabilities.
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the business competitive.
Implement scalable processes to support future headcount growth and regional expansion.
Qualifications
7–10+ years of experience in electronic security, ideally with both sales and operational leadership responsibilities.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding multi million dollar revenue targets.
Strong understanding of design, deployment, and lifecycle management of electronic security systems.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage P&L, and grow market presence.
Exceptional communication, client facing, and negotiation skills.
Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on sales activity.
