​Qualifications

• Must have excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills

• Proficient in time management and multitasking

• Prior experience working in a financial institution setting

• (Vault systems and Drive up systems)

• Must have working knowledge of local and national codes, policies and practices

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimal 3 years of physical security experience (working with vaults, safes, locks, safety deposit boxes, etc.)

• Able to pass full background check and drug test

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Must display a strong work ethic and professional integrity and presence

• Strong leadership and team work along with the ability to work independently with minimal direction

• Proficient in the use of personal computers including such programs as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Knowledge of and ability to use all tools pertaining to the installation and servicing of job functions

• Ability to stand for long periods of time, occasional lifts heavy loads, climb ladders, bend, stoop and perform other physical requirements of this position

Responsibilities

• As a Physical Security Technician, you will perform maintenance and installation of safes, locks, under-counter teller equipment, RTS drive-up systems, safe deposit boxes and vaults

• You will also be trained on other areas of service, including performing installation and network integration of financial institution’s security equipment including alarm systems, video surveillance, and access control

• In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by ensuring excellent quality of workmanship, professional customer communication, and loyal confidentiality

• Customer service is a key part of this role

• This will include maintaining a positive working relationship with our customer during a service call, scheduled meetings with customer and other contractors, and customer training sessions

• Service, install, program, configure, and troubleshoot existing security alarm and site automation systems and banking equipment

• Cleaning, lock maintenance & drilling of safe deposit boxes, vaults, undercounter steel, and pneumatic drive-up systems

• Maintenance of after-hours depositories

• Install, integrate and service access control systems and door electronic door locks and door closures

• Working and communicating well with fellow team members of our company

• You will be responsible to assist with inventory management and anticipate parts required to meet your daily job functions

• Submit accurate and timely service call/installation documentation to our corporate office (Billing reports and worksheets, Time Cards, Inventory paperwork)

• Ability to work independently as well as with a team

• Ability to learn new technology and participate with ongoing educational training sessions
